Your Mind is Your Greatest Asset

In every aspect of sport and life, the mind leads the body… it guides your actions, interprets the world around you, and shapes your reality.

FUN FACT:

Did you know that approximately 80% of your thoughts are below your conscious level of awareness

and become automatic in nature?!?

You see… if you don’t know better… you can’t DO better!

That’s how powerful your mind is in shaping your experience.

During this clinic we will dive deep into the incredible power of the mind-body connection.

We know that to reach peak performance, you must first unlock the secrets of your own mind.

Together we will Build Your Pathway to Success with the Steps Below:

Step #1: Our Journey Begins With Education

This clinic will equip you with the knowledge you need to understand how your mind works and in turn, influences your actions.

The Champion’s Mind isn’t just a concept; it’s a specific way of thinking and approaching your sport that leads to success.

Without this knowledge, you can’t make the necessary adjustments.

Step #2: Gain Awareness and Take Control

You may not be aware of it, but your mind is constantly working beneath the surface. This clinic will help you identify the underlying themes in your thinking that negatively impact your mood and your performance.

The champions of life take control by identifying their triggers and the underlying thinking patterns that lead to distress.

Step #3: Challenge and Replace

Together we will go through a systematic process that will guide you to replace negative thinking with a more powerful and empowering thought process.  It doesn’t work when you simply tell yourself to shake it off or be more positive.

That’s because you don’t actually believe it in the moment.

The truth is, in the relentless world of sports and life, challenges and pressures are constants.

To overcome them, you must get to the root and then know what to do with it.

During our time together we will do exactly that, because….

You will NEVER outwork a weak MINDSET!

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

I think having a strong mental game is so important to any athlete. When you have a positive mindset toward your sport, you’ll have more fun doing it and will excel at your craft. Being a kid and a hockey player you go through certain ups and downs with school, family, friends etc, and having someone like Brenley to talk it out with is really important. Having that mental game will always reassure you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and to keep pushing to achieve your goals.

I really enjoyed working with Brenley and understanding confidence in a completely different way. I have learned how to manage things when they aren’t going my way in a game, how to bounce back, and how to not let it hurt my confidence. These sessions have helped me play with a more clear mind which is what allows me to play at my best.

I started the Confidence Clinic to improve my performance in swimming. After a rough race where I didn't hit my best time and felt super down, I shut myself off and didn't want to talk to anyone, even my coach. It was a really low point. After working with Brenley I’ve now learned a powerful strategy that I can use to help me move on and let go. I can be annoyed for a little bit, but then I just bounce back. I have a million more races headed my way, so no biggie!

Before joining the Confidence Clinic, I was stuck thinking about stuff I had no power over. I realized I was just making myself feel less confident by always focusing on what brings me down. But now I get that I can actually choose what to pay attention to, and that brings back my confidence. I can put my energy into the good stuff I think about and let doing it over and over help me feel better. Repetition is my master!
Hannah (Age 17)
Clinic Participant
When I started this program I was about to head to the Brick Tournament and was feeling mentally weak, especially when faced with challenges or trying something new. Before the program, I’d often think, 'I can’t do this' or 'This is too hard.' But with Brenley's help, I now feel mentally stronger and no longer fear stepping out of my comfort zone.
Kai (Age 10)
Clinic Participant
Before I started this program, I was really nervous and would often get frustrated, even to the point of showing it through my body language by throwing my stick when I didn’t play well. But after going through the live sessions with you, I’ve noticed improvements every single week.
Max (Age 11)
Clinic Participant
I started with Brenley to help me when I was struggling as a goalie. I was on the worst team in the OMHA for my age group. Being the goalie for the team was very hard, since there was little support from my team or coach. Brenley has changed my life and I can't wait to keep working with her.
Bryce (Age 12)
Clinic Participant
Before this program, I used to feel sad and frustrated when a coach yelled at me. But now, even if a coach gets upset, I still believe in myself. I have tools that help me stay confident and keep believing in myself, even when I make a mistake.

WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Over the past few seasons, I have had the opportunity to work with Brenley within a team atmosphere and on an individual level, as a member of the Peterborough Petes. Whenever she came to the rink, chatting with her would provide my teammates and I a nice change of perspective towards approaching the game that we play. Her strategies and coaching helped us develop a process driven mindset through the ups and downs of an OHL season. Brenley’s mental game coaching, along with the enthusiasm and positive energy that she brings, has proven to be a useful tool that my teammates and I have been privileged to use.

I think the mental performance program I did with Brenley was so important because it is such a big part of success in the game. So much of how you think and react to things like mistakes, coaches yelling, and guys getting in your head, come from your mental toughness. Brenley has taught me to have the right mindset and learn how to react and respond in a more powerful way . She also helped our team with setting goals, monitoring our progress, and team cohesion. It brought us all closer together and helped us to be a strong group. Brenley is very easy to talk to and was always thee when you needed her. She has helped me to stay focused on my main goal of getting to the NHL with a strong mind and clear focus.

I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Brenley. Working with her allowed me to fully understand how my thinking was holding me back in my performance. She guided me on how to let go of that thinking and be present in my experience. My sessions with Brenley completely changed my life because they not only helped me on the court, but could also be transferred into my everyday life by having a better understanding of myself, my emotions, and my patterns.
Julie Gordon
PROFESSIONAL BEACH VOLLEYBALL PLAYER
Before working with Brenley I was negative, anxious and I struggled with performing under pressure. With my mental game training, I have been able to take these struggles and look at them through a different lens and gain a whole new perspective. This has changed my game and state of mind in tennis, which has resulted in great success. It led me to winning U16 Provincials in Canada and placing top 12 in Canada for U18. My work with Brenley has helped me to stay focused in the present, control my nerves and build my confidence. It has been a game changer!
